A:Hundreds - too many to count.

Q:What was the last book you read?
A:Chick Yuill's new tome, "Others"

Q:What book are you presently reading?
A: "God On Mute" by Pete Greig

5 books that mean a lot to me are...

hmmnn...this is the tricky one. For a few years after I left school in the early 80s I barely picked a book up. Then, one day, I decided that was a very bad idea, and went and bought 5 books, which kicked off a never ending buying & reading spree. Those 5 books were as follows:
"On The Road" Jack Kerouac
"Lake Wobegon Days" Garrison Keillor
"Catcher in the Rye" J.D.Salinger
"Neuromancer" William Gibson
"Finnegan's Wake" James Joyce(Which remains unread)

Since then, the REALLY important ones have been:(and I hate to be so predictable by sharing some of your choices Thomas)

"The Message" Eugene Peterson
"I'll Fight" Phil Wall
"Velvet Elvis" Rob Bell
"Sowing Dragons" Geoff Ryan..

...and a host of others...Johnnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07253627576634506407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16614510.post-29885133921444922192007-05-18T01:57:00.000+01:002007-05-18T01:57:00.000+01:00Thanks for the tag - rather enjoyed thinking about...Thanks for the tag - rather enjoyed thinking about this!
- Laura xoLaura Whisperinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00546719995730647370noreply@blogger.com
