I will bounce back

I didn't get the job I went for yesterday... I was up against someone who was more experienced and, although I have grown as an individual and was able to demonstrate the required behaviours, I lacked the practical experience my opponent had.

Feel low... but will bounce back.

We covered Philippians 4 last night at alife and now its time for me to live these words...
Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you're on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!

Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
Philippians 4: 4-7 [The Message]

Here's to tomorrow.

    Thomas,

You wouldn't want it if God hasn't ordained it - would you? His ways are higher than our ways. Much higher.

Even though we have to push doors to find out what opens for us - the doors that don't open can be frustrating at the time.

Keep praying that God will use you.

  3. Sorry to hear this Thomas but it obviously wasn't the right move for you - I know thats really frustrating to hear cos people have said it to me in the past when things I've wanted have fallen through and its narked me a bit. But its been proved right over time. Continued prayers for you and yours pal.

Our prayers have remained with you. Life is full of knocks and disappointments; sometimes we do not see light at the end of the tunnel when we experience a run of "unwanted" outcomes. However, our God is infinitely loving beyond our understanding and He loves you deeply. He has you in the palm of His hand and he will bring you out of the prison and into the "Prime Minister's" job in Egypt when He is ready to do so. Joseph must have been mystified and downcast but God changed things so much - prepare for what may come!
