Red Nose Day 2009 (72/365)
I am so looking toward to the comedy-for-charity-athon that is Comic Relief. I can't wait to sit down with Olly & the we'ans for the show. We have our noses & I picked up Jamie Oliver's RND cookbook a while back.
Thing is... laughter is good for the soul... as is generousity & a sense of participation. That's why I love Red Nose Day for Comic Relief.
I'd better go... the clowns will be round for money in the office.
Have a great day & give what you can... to a number of very worthy causes.

Let there be light (71/365)
I am a big fan of my local library. It should have it's own fan page on Facebook... so I could "officially" become it's fan.
Popped into the library tonight whilst the we'ans were at "the Rainbow Club" at a local church. I borrowed a Seasick Steve CD. I was offered it for 35p (instead of the usual 70p) if I borrowed a book with it. I borrowed William Gibson's "Pattern Recognition". Not really sure why other than I think I miss Cacey.
My library is an access point to so much: music... films... literature... ideas such as art, design, theology, philosophy etc etc. It is a treasure trove... a cornucopia of inspiration.
I especially love the inscription over the front door... "Let there be light". It inspires me everytime I see it.
Give your Library some love!

Soul (70/365)
"Beautiful music is the art of the prophets that can calm the agitations of the soul; it is one of the most magnificent and delightful presents God has given us."

The Duke (68/365)
I love Glasgow! I love working there... being part of the buzz... as I grab a coffee, eat some food or hang out.
It's an amazing city with a lot going for it... and a lot holding it back.
Thing is... it's my city. Not mine exclusively... I don't "own" Glasgow but I am proud to be a participant... a contributor to her diverse mix.
I want to see Glasgow flourish!
