This morning I spent my daily walk to the station listening to DJ Haggis aka weebeautifulpict's album "Angels in Clubland"... I used the time to pray and contemplate my weekend and the immediate future... and I was filled with a tremendous sense of hope!
The world is a dark, dark place but the sun continues to shine - we just have to get out there to see it.
Its easy for us to hide away from the world around us... hide in our homes or churches... but in doing so we will only experience artificial light or light through glass... we will never experience the refreshing burn of sunlight on our skin.
For us to experience God... we need to get out of our comfort zones... get out of our Christian ghettoes and live life...
I have hope for today and tomorrow... When people like Paul T are making beautiful electronic music as part of their personal worship... I have hope for the future.
