Cool :: Some sweet sites...

I check out ((9 rules network)) for advice on blogging (design/ interactivity etc) and to pine like a schoolgirl gazing at a puppy in a petshop window. 9 rules is a cool invitation-only blogging network... Their blog is sweet and is worthy of read.

Anyway, there was a post about a blog that caught my attention ::
Standards for Life is about living by standards in design and in life. Written from the perspective of a Female Christian Web Designer, Natalie Jost can be controversial, funny, and sometimes educational.

Natalie's blog is supersweet - lots of tips and reference points for budding graphic/ we designers. Is also refreshing to see that she is up front about her faith. She doesn't bang on but her faith permeates her work... and I dig that! Check it out :: ((Natalie Jost))

While on Natalie's blog, I noticed a link to ((Godbit))

The Godbit project's mission is to ::
...help the Church catch up with the rest of the world in adherence to standards given by the World Wide Web Consortium, the governing body of best-practices on the Internet. The majority of Christian web design agencies are using outmoded methods of coding to create websites that the rest of the world would scoff at. Basically, they are stuck in the 1990’s.
I can dig that! It is a tremendous resource site and well worth your time.

Let's combat mediocrity people!!!
