It is with great regret that we announce the closure of Fopp.

Our store chain is profitable, well regarded and loved by our loyal customers and staff. However we have failed to gain the necessary support from major stakeholders, suppliers and their credit insurers to generate sufficient working capital to run our expanding business.

We would like to thank staff and customers for their support over the past 25 years.

Any outstanding website orders have now been cancelled and will not be fulfilled or charged.
This is the message that greets anyone who goes to - My favourite record store has folded... and I am gutted.

This is how much Fopp means / meant to me

RIP Fopp indeed!

it is indeed a shame that Fopp has gone - for us as customers and of course for the staff who lose their jobs. But, I have to say that this could all stem from when they complained about Glenrothes Salvation Army Band playing outside their store at Christmas!!

Must be that prayer meeting we had about putting them out of business (kidding!)

It is a shame, Fopp was my favourite music shop at university and you could always get a few bargains there.
