Podcasts...

My pal Kirsty (right) requested the Revelation podcasts in MP3 format...

Week 1 :: ((week 1))
Week 2 :: ((week 2))
Week 3 :: ((week 3))
Week 4 :: ((week 4))
Week 6 :: ((week 6))
Week 7 :: ((week 7))

Still working on converting a taping of week 5 into MP3 - any ideas?

Hope this is of benefit, Kirsty.

Does your mac have audio-in? If so, plug a cable into your tape deck's headphone socket and the other end into you mac's audio-in. Play the tape and record an audio track in GarageBand.

If GarageBand has a de-hiss filter you'll probably want to use that too to get that clean-as-a-whistle digital feel :)

No idea if all that's possible on your computer, but that's what I do when I'm converting tapes to CD.

If it doesn't have audio in, a Griffin iMic will do it - and if you don't have Garage Band, then Audio Hijack Pro is a neat alternative - I use that a lot.

If you have none of the above, if you want to send me a copy (don't send the original), I'll have a go at doing it for you.

As an aside, an iMic is useful - I used it when I had an iBook and found it a great investment - I paid about a tenner off ebay, I seem to recall.

Thanks Chris and Andy... I don't have an audio-in on my iBook but I do have an iMic. However, it doesn't work for recording... only for output. Not sure if its working properly.

Humfer :: Delighted that you'll be able to take part - ask your mum about tonight's meeting. ^___^

You can post the tape to me if you want, and I'll convert it to digital for you.
