New Music :: [1000 Aeroplanes Crashing in the Night] & [Cousin Silas]

If you are a regular to ol' Nanolog you'll know that I am a big fan of ambient dreamscapes and leftfield electronic sounds... If you are new to the ol' Nanolog then, hey, I am a big fan of ambient dreamscapes and leftfield electronic sounds. One of my fav purveyors of this flavour of musical ice cream is the fantastic netlabel from the North of England :: earth monkey productions :: with their releases of 4th Alternative and Cousin Silas being firm favs of mine.

Anyway... they have co-released with d/a73 gallery and imprint the beautiful, lush 7 track ep ((Aspire to be Forgotten)) by [1000 Aeroplanes Crashing in the Night].
1000 Aeroplanes Crashing in the Night is a loosely knit musical collective consisting of up to 8 members. We are spread out from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA to Knoxville, Tennessee, USA to Asheville, North Carolina, USA to Minneapolis, MN, USA to Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, United Kingdom.
I love it... beautiful, atmospheric soundscapes... that are full of texture and meaning. The track emergent is kind of apt for me...too!

Its available to download from the earth monkey productions site :: ((link))

While you are there... take the time to download the new ep from [Cousin Silas] :: ((Relic Once Lost)) :: Darker and more ominous than previous work... it still captivates my mind and imagination. Another worthy release from ol' silas!

Its also available to download from the earth monkey productions site :: ((link))

Lastly... check out EMP's tees and promo material via the link to their Cafepress space. If you like them... support them... and be the talk of the coffeehouse or homegroup :-)
