Nooma

I mentioned previously about a video clip used in the Sunday evening meeting at Youth Councils. The video was called "Dust" and it featured the Pastor and author, Rob Bell, giving his thoughts on being called by a Rabbi. In Jesus' day, Rabbis only called the best of the best of the best... and these disciples wanted to be like their Rabbi - to think and act like him. Jesus called also-rans when he called folk like Peter, James & John... these weren't the best of the best but anybodies... not-good-enoughs... and they changed history with Jesus!!!

Anyway, check out nooma(dot)com They presently have 12 "noomas" along with a soundtrack CD. Its good stuff and something I want to explore for our church/division.
