Its bizarre how one thing leads to another on the 'tinternet (as one of my dear Leeds colleagues calls it...) I was surfing on LastFM and saw an adsense ad for the Destiny church in Inverness (for some reason I get loads of ads for Oban & Inverness - why Oban and Inverness??? Never been to either town but at least I know they have "sexy singles" and a couple of cool churches)... My good mate Humfer is part of Destiny in Edinburgh so I checked their site out (link) and followed a link to the Glasgow site (link)
On the Glasgow site, they have a link to the Urban Lounge - this is a "chilled Bible Study over coffee" that is aimed for students and young professionals held in Starbucks on Byres Road in the West End of Glasgow. Love this. Creating church where people are.
If you are in the area, check them out and be part of their "discussions about the relevance of God in our lives and in the lives of others."

Its really nice to see mentions of Destiny amongst your blog.
The Inverness church has recently been set up by 2 good friends of mine from the Edinburgh church. They were running the alpha course which brought me to Destiny and brought me back in line and into the presense of the Holy Spirit. They are wonderful people and felt that God was speaking to them to go and plant the church in Inverness....its all starting to come together now.
