New Music :: Diggin' in the crates...

Been diggin' in the crates... Went to the Fort yesterday with Olly and the girls and my folks... Its my dad's birthday tomorrow and I wanted to get him something super. He chose Nicola Bennedeti's new album :: which he loves!

Anyway, Virgin had a £2 sale and I picked up some fab tunage. What made it even better is my pal, Ross D, works in Virgin and he put through all the tunes with his 20% discount! Sweet! Cheers Ross...

I picked up the single :: Making Music by Chungking a while back because there was a fantastic 4hero remix. Picked up their album :: [the hungry years] :: and I love it... Super fat wall-of-sound soul music... Really uplifting and powerful...

I also found Badmarsh & Shri's album :: [Signs] :: and am glad I did... I know their music through the Big Chill and Future World Funk - their sound is an unique Asian blend of bleeding edge electronica with a taste of dub. Love it.

Lastly... [prophesy] by Nitin Sawhney is another wonderful journey into Asian electronica. Its a tasty salad with strong flavours that works really well.
